The diploma thesis presents the closer overwiew lets known of Czechoslovak social pedagogy and social work in the first half of the 20th century, Olga Fierz. Based on the content analysis of the secondary written sources, the aim is to define which social and educational features Olga Fierz used in her practical care of homeless, Jewish and German children during the years 1933 to 1947 and to determine their contribution and significance. In the end, the results of research are formulated, providing an answer to the research goals. This thesis deals with the personality of the Premysl Pitter, a time in which he lived. He was a man of humanism, tolerance, democracy supporter, ecumenism and one of the few who help without having. The aim of the thesis is to familiarize the reader with the most important events and aspects of his life. The work is divided into ten chapters and each will concentrate on one period in his life. The first chapter describes his childhood until his return from the World War I. In the second chapter, I tried to handle the growth of his thoughts and ideas in a European context. The third chapter is entitled "Milíč's house," where Premysl and his colleagues care for children of lower Zizkov. The fourth deals with " The Castles". The fifth chapter is called Pitter escape from Czechoslovakia. In the sixth chapter describes his work in the refugee camp Valka. The seventh chapter is devoted to his publishing work and stay in Switzerland. Eighth entitled "An educator and didactic activity" here, I tried to outline its most important pedagogical benefits and principle. The ninth chapter deals with life colleague of Pitter about Olga Fierz. The last chapter was compiled in table form, which I chose for its lucidity. The Personality of Přemysl Pitter and his merits in the out-of-school education

This bachelor thesis deals with personality of Přemysl Pitter and his merrits in the out-of school education. The goal of this work is to focus on life and fate of this Czech preacher, writer and social worker Přemysl Pitter. The practical part of this thesis will be focused on analysis available statements of Přemyl Pitter's children using DVD recordings. Qualitative method will be used as a basic research to obtain content analysis of text and statements of witnesses.

Milíč's House and Přemysl Pitter

The topic of this thesis is the Miličův House, its beginnings, functioning, and further activities connected to this house, which served as a shelter for children in need. This thesis also presents the life of Přemysl Pitter, the man who played the key role in establishing this house. The objective of this thesis is to portray the situation of education at the Miličův House during the World War I & II as well as to show the inspiring life of Přemysl Pitter. The Miličův House isn't, however, the only great accomplishment of Mr. Pitter therefore this piece focuses on his other successful projects such as the infirmary in Mýto u Rokycan and Action Zámky. All these institutions not only improved, but also saved lives of numerous children and adults. Furthermore, this thesis includes accounts of his colleagues and friends. The end of this thesis presents one of the strong stories portraying the life at the Miličův House and the story of Přemysl Pitter.
Přemysl Pitter - The Life for Others. Ethical-social Aspects of Historical Profiling his Life and Work

The work deals with the life and work of Přemysl Pitter, major Czech Christian humanist, representativ of the social learning, education and journalism in the 20th - 70s of the twentieth century. Introductory chapters are devoted to his childhood and youth, especially his personal reflection of the suffering experienced at the frontline on the 1st World War, which influenced his future life guidance and practical activities. Other parts of the document is characterized Pitter{\crq}s destiny and social work for others - the poor, downtrodden, necessary - in the context of the radical social and political changes in the last century. Here is a somewhat more comprehensive text on the history of the fight to save children from a concentration camps and detention camps, after World War II, ie between 1945 - 1947. The last section describes the life and operation of Přemysl Pitter after retirement emigration in 1951, when the World Council of Churches delegated the duty of pastoral and social services for refugees in the camp Valka in Nuremberg in Germany until its repeal in 1962. The final chapter describes the staying and creative activity Pitter{\crq}s exile in Switzerland in the 60s and 70s. The work includes a brief summary of the contents of archival material and archives of Přemysl Pitter and Olga Fierzová in PMJAK in Prague.
Leisure Time Aktivities of the Centres Milíč's House in Jaroměř and Střelka in Dvůr Králové nad Labem and the Integration of Romany Youth

The theses is about integration of the Romany children and youth who attend the Milíč's House centre in Jaroměř and the Střelka centre in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. It is divided in three main parts. The first is about problems of integration and coexistence of the majority society with minorities. The second part describes the Romany history, origin, culture, values and traditional habits. There is more about the Romany family life, access to education or religion, different mentalitity and special characteristics as well. The third part is about brief history, structure of working and analysis of activities of the Milíč's House centre in Jaroměř and Sřelka centre in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. There are also results how the centres contribute to integration of the Romany youth mentioned in this part which were taken from the talks held with the staff of both centres.
